A Dream Never Dies is a gritty, emotional and inspiring true-life story of multi-award-winning broadcaster Spider Jones’ tumultuous journey from the predatory streets of Detroit to the top of the radio industry.

From early childhood all Spider Jones ever wanted to become was a radio music jock who could share his deep passion for music with the world. However, in the impoverished world in which he lived such noble dreams were considered delusional.

At a young age fate cruelly forced Spider to deal with a host of painful tragedies such as the deaths of his baby brother and beloved fiancé Angel. Then there was the poverty, racism, gang violence, police brutality along with a stint in prison. However, his most difficult challenge were his toe-to-to battles with the narrow-minded old boys, who controlled the white male-dominated radio industry. When he questioned their lack of diversity they retaliated by accusing him of playing the race card and attempted to blackball him from the industry.

As life often goes things get worse before they get really horrible. Yet he persists.
