Just outside town in a big old house set on the top of a hill sits The Langdon Collection. It isn’t on any map, or in any directory. There is no large neon sign. Or any sign at all. Just the number 19″ nailed to an unpainted piece of barn board hanging from a post.
Inside this house is a wide assortment of very special items collected over decades. Maybe even centuries. During that time The Collection grew out of passion and one man s destiny. The artifacts displayed, though they appear common, are unique and quite special. Inside each item here is locked a story that bears witness to a secret. Like a magic bullet, each is aimed to profoundly strike one specific visitor to The Collection.
By providence or Langdon’s guidance, each visitor is inexplicably drawn toward an object and its tale begins. Langdon, himself, relates the stories and each one ends in an ironic twist. Only then does the visitor recognize the reason he has been led to visit The Collection.
So, if you happen to be driving on that old road just outside town, and find that big old house on top of the hill, pull into the driveway. There’ll always be parking waiting for you. Stroll up the wooden stairs, push open the door and make yourself comfortable. Langdon will be waiting for you. Then stroll through the one-of-a-kind museum.
Welcome to The Langdon Collection.
